Rocket from Scratch - CODE University

Problem:

Shoot a rocket to 500m height and verify that with sensor data. Inspired by this guy (video) (you should watch it ;D).

Solution:

"As much software as possible and as little hardware as needed"

Build a custom thrust vector controlled model rocket and develop the software for on-board controlling, launchpad and ground control.

There are many student projects internationally which do similar projects, also on much bigger scale (video).

Result:
